Ultraformer High Intensity Focused Ultrasound

Ultraformer High Intensity Focused Ultrasound

Application Features

Compared to traditional therapy, Ultherapy is a breakthrough technology. The key to the therapy lies in the depth and temperature. The treatment depth of Ultherapy is 1.5-4.5mm. in addition to playing the role of the fiber septum, it also has a direct role on the Superficial muscularaponeuroticsystem, SMAS, thus achieving contraction and firming results. Due to the thermal effect of the focus ultrasound, the skin’s epidermis will immediately show a lifting and firming effect. Subsequently, the deep-lying skin tissue under the thermal effect will lead to the long-term regeneration and restructuring of the collagen. The effectiveness for this part varies depending on the physical constitution of individuals. Most people experience the most obvious collagen proliferation result 3-6 months after treatment. In general, the result will last for one and a half year to two years.

Efficacy

Ultherapy comes with different probes. Choose a therapy based on the depth of the skin site treated to achieve different levels of skin improvement results. Besides the face, the necklines can also be treated. By progressive means, all-rounded improvement on wrinkles, firming, and face lifting can be achieved. After surgery, hyaluronic acid or Sculptra is used to partially fill depressed parts, such as risorius muscles, tear trough (nasojugal groove), etc., thereby completely improving aging, sagging, and depression problems. Ultherapy improves wrinkles and firms and lifts the face by progressive means.

The probe comes in three depths: 4.5mm, 3.0mm, and 1.5mm. Choose a therapy based on the depth of the skin site.

The treatment depth of Ultherapy is 3.0-4.5mm, which is the SMS fascia in traditional facelift treatment. It has overcome the treatment depth limitation of conventional laser instruments. In addition, every TCP of ultrasound lift has a higher temperature due to the dermal action, which is the highest temperature among all non-invasive skin tightening instruments available. The energy passes through the epidermis to fully stimulate collagen proliferation, without having to worry about epidermal injury. About 8,000~10,000 independent set points distributed in two depths are produced after treatment, which immediately lead to tissue contraction and initiate the next stage of collagen generation. In general, the result is the most obvious 3-6 months after surgery, lasting up to 1.5-2 years.

Treatment Process

Outpatient clinic with the surgeon (including photography)→cleansing→application of anesthetic ointment→laser operated by the surgeon→postoperative calming and repair/full-face application of anti-inflammatory ointment→skincare and sunscreen

Treatment Time and Interval

Prior to undergoing Ultherapy treatment, the specialized surgeon will first conduct an overall preoperative assessment. Then, a professional nurse will perform facial cleansing and apply local anesthesia on the patient. After the therapy begins, the surgeon will use the Ultherapy ultrasound imaging system to observe the patient’s dermal condition and plan the best treatment site. At the same time, targeting the varied depths, different probes are used for SMAS, subcutaneous fat layer, and dermal layer, which can sequentially produce firming, lifting, and collagen proliferation results. The full-face treatment takes about 45-60 minutes to complete. There is no recovery period or scarring. You may immediately resume work the next day.

Suitable Targets

1. Those who wish to improve the skin texture.

2. Sagging skin: eye bags/nasolabial folds/Marionette lines, double chin.

3. Drooping eyelids: Tighten forehead skin and lift eyes and eyebrows.

4. Wrinkles: Wrinkles around forehead/eyes/lips.

5. Neck lines: Neck aging.

6. Those who wish to improve skin elasticity and achieve contour compactness.

Precautions

1.Strengthen moisturizing and repair and sunscreen. Avoid direct sun exposure and reduce outdoor activity.

2.Do not perform exfoliation before surgery and two weeks after surgery. Do not apply whitening products (LC. Arbutin, etc.), acid products (A acid, AHA, salicylic acid, etc.), and skincare products containing irritating ingredients (alcoholic ingredients).

3.Avoid heat stimulus two weeks after surgery, such as sauna, oven, stem room, hot spring, face washing using hot water, etc.

4.Do nose use skincare products or drugs not prescribed by the doctor during treatment period.

5.Do not go to the swimming pool or use sauna facilities within one week.

6.Do not wash the face with cold water or excessively rub or massage the skin within one week after surgery. Strengthen moisturizing and sunscreen.

Q&A

Q: Is it painful during treatment?

A:The degree of pain varies from individual to individual. The discomfort felt during treatment is temporary, and the discomfort is an indication that the collagen reconstruction mechanism has been activated. Communicate with the surgeon prior to treatment on easing the pain and nervousness through topical anesthesia or local anesthetic injections.

Q:Are there side effects on the skin after treatment?

A:There may be slight skin redness, tingling sensation, pain, bruising, or local numbness after treatment, but the sensations are mild and temporary and will disappear after a few days. You may resume routine work the next day.

Q:How long does the therapeutic result last?

A: Ultherapy can promote the generation and restructuring of collagen, making the skin firm and smooth. The therapy result can last for 1-2 years, but the duration may vary depending on the physical constitution, age, and habits of individuals. Longer effectiveness can be achieved through proper moisturizing and sunscreen and not staying up, smoking, or drinking.

Q: How many therapy sessions are needed?

A:The number of therapy sessions varies according to the degree of skin aging and relaxation. In general, skin lift results can be seen after one session. If a more extensive rejuvenation result is expected, discuss with the surgeon regarding the need for additional sessions.
